Dr Baxter provides fertility care in partnership with Genea, one of Australia’s leading fertility groups, combining specialist gynaecological and surgical expertise with Genea’s assisted-reproduction laboratories.
Care is tailored to your circumstances, from first investigations through to assisted reproduction. Individuals and couples are welcome, including same-sex couples and single patients.
Dr Baxter understands how closely gynaecological and fertility care are connected, and by providing fertility care in partnership with Genea, he can support his patients through their entire journey.
Through this partnership, Dr Baxter’s patients benefit from Genea’s high-calibre care and the technology behind it. Genea has over 40 years of fertility research and innovation, proprietary technology, and a track record of success rates consistently above the national average.
Dr Baxter provides fertility care in partnership with Genea, combining specialist gynaecological and surgical expertise with Genea’s assisted-reproduction laboratories. Services include infertility workups and investigations, ovulation tracking and induction, fertility-facilitating surgery, IVF and ICSI, fertility preservation, genetic carrier screening, and preimplantation genetic testing (PGT).
All referrals are reviewed by Dr Baxter and appointments are allocated based upon clinical urgency, your availability and preference. If you have an urgent concern please phone reception to discuss this. Typically appointments are within 3 weeks
Of course, as a local doctor you will be seen after surgery and prior to discharge from hospital. All patients are generally phoned by Dr Baxter or his nurse 2 weeks post surgery to check recovery, discuss results and check in. This may be all you require but more major surgery will always have a 6 week appointment to review your healing and clear you to return to normal activities
Of course. Many women bring a partner, family member, or friend. Whatever helps you feel comfortable.
