Surgery

Broad spectrum gynaecological surgical care.

Overview

About this service

I’m a broad spectrum, advanced scope gynaecological surgeon, providing care across all aspects of women’s health.

I was the first trainee in Western Australia to obtain credentialing for laparoscopic hysterectomies in my second year of training, and I currently hold AGES Level 6B, the highest level of benign surgical credentialing in Australia. I also pioneered day-case hysterectomies in the public system.

My job is to make sure you understand your options, the risks and the benefits, so you can make the right choice for your body, your life, and your medical history.

Quick facts

Keyhole

Laparoscopic surgery

Keyhole surgery is the gold standard for most gynaecological surgical needs.

Prolapse & repair

Vaginal surgery

Primarily for the surgical management of pelvic organ prolapse.

Scar-free

vNOTES & hysteroscopic surgery

I’m one of the few gynaecologists performing vNOTES (vaginal Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery) in Western Australia, treating the uterus, ovaries and ligaments through a vaginal route, with no abdominal scars and often a shorter recovery. Hysteroscopic surgery is performed through the cervix with no external incisions.

Where I operate

Public and private

Peel Health Campus for public patients in the local catchment area, and Waikiki Private Hospital for private patients. I’m a no-gap provider with all private health insurance funds, for every procedure.
